My name is Mark & I love photography!
Do you need to know anything else?
Oh…you do…Ok, here comes the boring stuff. I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I decided to take it a step further and started to study it in more detail. I successfully completed courses at both the IOP (Institute of Photography) and DkIT (Dundalk Institute of Technology) as well as completing numerous workshops. I then joined the Royal Photographic Society, one of the oldest, most recognised and prestigious Photographic societies in the world and have recently been awarded a “Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society” distinction, which is a world recognised qualification. I have also received a distinction from the IPF (Irish Photographic Federation). And most recently have been asked to lecture at DkIT.
Here’s a boring photo of me.
I love all forms of photography but as a father of four I am well used to having children around me. I often help my wife in her childcare business Cute ‘n’ Clever Kids and provide annual photo-shoots for her clients. Because of this I am Garda vetted which means I am eligible to work with children on a larger scale, e.g. Schools, Preschools etc.
Here’s a not-so-boring photo of me.
- I’ve Been Framed!
Over the years I have photographed events such as Weddings, Christenings, Communions, Confirmations, Graduations, Preschools as well as sporting events and charity events and also a number of commercial photographs.
